Epilepsy Nurse Navigator (RN)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in navigation, improving care access and timeliness.
• Collaborate with program leaders, perform data evaluations, and support program growth based on community needs.
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Career coordination, bridging gaps in services across specialty clinics and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote teamwork, performance improvement, and adherence to organizational policies and safety standards.
• Mentor and support professional development of nursing staff and students, staying current with oncology advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and disease-specific areas (to be achieved within 1 year).
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 2+ years in disease-specific and outpatient care or care coordination.
