Epilepsy Nurse Navigator (RN)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert, coordinate patient care, and improve access to services through assessment, planning, and evaluation using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in performance improvement, and support professional development.
• Document care, promote inclusivity, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Act as a preceptor or mentor, stay current on oncology practices, and utilize evidence-based approaches.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing preferred;
• Current RN licensure;
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and disease-specific area (to be obtained within 1 year).
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in disease-specific and outpatient care.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and emergency response skills in a fast-paced environment are essential.
