Epic Trainer l, RN

About the role

This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical training for end users of E.H.R (Electronic Health Record) software applications.
• Develops and delivers learning materials, lesson plans, including those required for online modules, instructor-led training, job-aides organization-wide.
• Develops and continuously updates training materials for various training sessions (Orientation On-boarding, advanced, refresher classes, helpful hints, frequently asked questions, tip sheets, etc.).
• Maintains and creates schedule of training courses and conducts those trainings.
• This position may have more focus in hospital departments.

Qualifications

• RN Degree
• Must be credentialed trainer in 1+ Epic module(s) appropriate to area of training needs determined by PIH Health IT Department
• Within one year of employment, the position requires successful completion of the Epic credentialing process, successful completion of teaching presentation before a panel, and successful completion of a credentialing examination
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a healthcare setting using EHR/EDR systems, facilitating training classes, or equivalent experience in developing and presenting training curriculum required
• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related fieldclinical background and 4+ years of experience
• Three (3) or more years using the Epic EHR system
