  • Serve as the primary technical advisor in meetings with clients and Epic, providing thoughtful guidance and building trusted relationships.
  • Develop scalable delivery frameworks, implementation methodologies, and best practices that improve consistency across engagements.
  • Troubleshoot complex Epic configurations, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Partner closely with patient access and operational teams to align technology with real-world workflows and drive successful adoption.
  • Evaluate and improve telephony and call center integrations where Epic and operational workflows intersect.
  • Translate technical concepts, tradeoffs, and recommendations into clear, actionable guidance for technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Assess existing workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and create implementation plans that support long-term adoption.
  • Provide technical expertise during business development efforts by helping define project scope and aligning delivery expectations.
  • Explore automation opportunities and technology-enabled processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across client implementations.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in Epic service delivery, healthcare IT consulting, or Epic implementation with demonstrated success leading complex initiatives.
  • Active Epic certifications in Cadence, Prelude, and MyChart (required). Additional Epic certifications such as Ambulatory, Referrals, Hello World, Nurse Triage, or Cheers/Campaigns are preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise gained through advanced application management, consulting, or Epic support experience.
  • Experience partnering with healthcare systems in a consulting or client-facing capacity.
  • Proven ability to develop reusable frameworks, standards, and methodologies that improve delivery across multiple teams.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to anticipate downstream impacts, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide organizational adoption.
  • Experience collaborating with patient access and operational teams to improve workflows and outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical teams, executives, and client stakeholders.
  • Calm, collaborative leadership style with the ability to navigate complex client environments and build confidence through expertise.
  • Experience with telephony integrations, call center technologies, or Epic-connected operational platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where building scalable processes is essential.
