Epic Certified Senior System Administrator

Position Purpose

This position provides the configuration, installation, maintenance, backup, and support for enterprise application and Systems.

Nature and Scope

This position is responsible for a complex Healthcare System application environment that changes rapidly to meet the changing requirements of a growing enterprise of applications. This position is challenged with providing a reliable, flexible, and cost-effective system environment.

Requirements

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
• Requires knowledge of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and database development.
• Eight years’ experience working in client/server computing environment and minimum of eight years’ experience working with W-intel-based servers and server management.
• Five years’ experience as a Systems or Applications Administrator.
• Background in healthcare environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA certification preferred.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
