Environmental Svc Tech I

The Advanced Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within a hospital environment. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in environmental services, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and sterile environment to support patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards in a hospital environment.
• Perform advanced environmental services tasks to ensure a sterile environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospital environmental service experience.
• Experience following written and verbal instructions.
• Previous experience performing manual tasks.
• Prior customer service experience working with the public.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
