Engineering Technician I
About the role
As an Engineering Technician I at Honeywell, you will work in a test position for hardware support of legacy test equipment. Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will be on-site in multiple locations to support test hardware and cells for production testing. You will be responsible for daily troubleshooting of hardware and component failures, internal customer support, and customer communication. You will report directly to our Senior Engineering Test Manager. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of aerospace products by providing essential technical support, performing routine testing, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams with testing, data collection, and documentation of aerospace systems and components
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure operational accuracy
- Support troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues
- Maintain accurate records and reports to support engineering projects and compliance requirements
Requirements

Qualifications
You must have:
- Entry-level experience or internships in engineering or technical roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of aerospace mechanical systems and components
- Familiarity with technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools and software such as CAD or data analysis tools
