Job Overview

This position will find, define, and provide detailed, engineered solutions with the goal of improving our key metrics of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production.

About the Role

Function as a team player: humble, eager to work, understand other people. Understand the effects of the equipment, and processes, in your designated production area on the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production metrics. Ability to communicate (oral and written) well with a wide variety of folks: production associates, supervisors, maintenance, engineers, managers.

Responsibilities

  • Find, define, and recommend projects to help production further metrics in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production.
  • Leverage technical skill sets to provide justification and solutions to situations: CAD abilities, Cost Justifications, Project/Work Planning, Root Cause Documentation, Writing Standard Work Procedures, fine attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school education with 1-3 years applicable trades experience.
  • Computer skills preferred: CAD, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • General mechanical knowledge.
  • A knack for understanding processes.
