Environmental Services Patient Ambassador - Advocate/Atrium Health Union - 1st Shift

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily staff duties and assignments in the department, evaluating conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures, coordinating staff training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily staff duties and assignments in the department, and ensures completion that meets the set standard.
• Evaluates conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures.
• Captures and coordinates staff training in proper use of chemicals, equipment processes, and safety issues.
• Manages staff in the absence of the department supervisor, overseeing daily staff duties and assignments.
• Evaluates daily staff productivity and advises corrective action as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
• Capable of working independently.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
• Patient Population Served: Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and demonstrates the skills and competency appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Pay

$20.80 - $31.20 per hour.

Schedule

First Shift Monday thru Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm.
