About the role

McGuireWoods’ Seattle office seeks an Associate to join its Environmental and Mass Tort Department. The Environmental Enforcement & Regulatory Counseling Practice Group provides guidance to clients on environmental law matters across all media—air, water, and land—through counseling, negotiations, and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle environmental and mass tort litigation matters.
• Provide regulatory counseling and negotiate environmental issues.
• Leverage innovative technology platforms, including Harvey AI, to accelerate research, streamline document drafting, and enhance analytical work.
• Focus on higher-value strategic thinking and client engagement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of environmental and mass tort litigation experience.
• Interest in aerospace and product liability strongly preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
• Willingness to work with innovative technology platforms.
