Environmental Field-Testing Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct Stack Emissions Testing, including equipment preparation, deployment, staging/breakdown, sample collection, and recovery.
• Perform on-site field testing professionally and transport testing equipment to customer sites.
• Follow test methods, procedures, and processes for quality source testing.
• Apply mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot testing systems.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Enjoy working outdoors safely in all weather conditions.
• Ability and willingness to climb stairs and ladders and work at elevated heights.
• Degree in environmental, engineering, or mechanical sciences, or related experience (highly preferred).
• Experience in environmental response/sample collection, mechanical, construction, or electrical work (helpful and preferred).
• Proficiency or strong aptitude to learn MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe products.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift equipment up to 75 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, work at elevated heights, and use tools requiring dexterity.
• Ability to distinguish between shades of color (critical for safety).

Pay

Starting pay rate is $22–$23 per hour, with quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and overtime opportunities. Estimated first-year annual salary is up to $48K.
