Environmental Engineer-Remediation Focus

Responsibilities

• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or closely related field AND two (2+) years of relevant experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
• Valid driver's license, subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening.
• Subject to Background check.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of field experience in environmental consulting.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Supervisory.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to Health and Safety.
