Principal Responsibilities
- Performs all compliance tasks and accurately records required data as required.
- Conducts routine inspections of facility systems, including pool areas (if applicable), ensuring proper chemical balance and safe operation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills to assist with documentation and communication.
- Performs preventative maintenance activities and completion of general work orders assigned, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care areas.
- Aid in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Engineer with general work orders.
- Assist with exterior groundskeeping, including lawn care and landscape maintenance.
- Maintain snow and ice removal to ensure safe access for patients, staff, and emergency services of TCHS properties.
- Ensure full compliance with road and motor vehicle safety regulations and best practices when operating company vehicles in the course of maintenance duties.
- Participate in special construction and improvement projects in compliance with regulations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations, including on-call responsibilities as required.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong attention to detail; especially regarding safety requirements.
- Active State Motor Vehicle License required.
