About the role

Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services to clients in Kent County. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults and empowering our Care Family to fulfill their purpose-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care to clients in their homes
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Monitor and report on client's health and well-being to healthcare providers
• Participate in instructor-led courses and skill-building sessions
• Support clients in managing behavioral and mental health needs

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Criminal record check meeting hiring guidelines
• Able to lift, position, and transfer patients
• Committed to excellence and a positive attitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Passing score on the HHA certification exam

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
