About the role

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is offering a unique educational program to help individuals enter the Diesel Maintenance field. The FleeTec Academy provides free technical education, hands-on training, and a full-time job as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic.

Responsibilities

Full-time classroom training for 4 weeks
Hands-on training with a Lead Technician
Opportunity for further classroom study and raises upon completion
Real pay rates starting at $13.72/hour
State minimum wage if higher
Weekly stipend of $250 (taxed)
Free tools provided
Opportunity to work in various markets

Requirements

Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician
Willingness and ability to study hard
Maturity level to focus on the task at hand
Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles
Ability to operate an iPad
Must be 21 to drive one of our trucks
High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

Passing background checks
Valid driver's license
Pre-employment drug testing

Pay
