About the role
FleeTec Academy is a paid educational program designed to help individuals enter the Diesel Maintenance field. Participants receive free technical education, a set of hand tools, and a stipend for travel and meals.
Responsibilities
- Full-time schooling at our Academy Campus for 5 weeks
- Travel expenses and hotel accommodations paid
- Hands-on training with a Lead Technician
- Offered an actual full-time job as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic
- Further classroom study sessions
- Pathway to becoming a Diesel Technician upon successful completion
Requirements
- Willingness to study hard
- Willingness to travel away from home for 5 weeks
- Maturity level to focus on the task at hand
- Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician
- Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles
- Ability to operate an iPad
- Must be 21 to drive one of our trucks

- $13.72/h (or state minimum wages, whichever is greater) + $250 / wk stipend (taxed)
- $19/h after 8 to 10 weeks
- $21/h upon graduation
