About the role
Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services is seeking individuals passionate about fixing vehicles to join our FleeTec Academy program. This paid educational program prepares participants to become full-time Diesel & Trailer Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Full-time classroom training at our Academy Campus for four weeks
- Travel expenses, hotel accommodation, and stipend for meals paid by Cox Automotive
- Weekly paycheck during the initial classroom phase
- Pairing with a Lead Technician for hands-on training
- Offered an actual full-time job as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in your market
- Further classroom study sessions to keep developing your skill set
- Graduation leads to calling yourself a Diesel Technician
Requirements
- Willingness to study hard for four weeks
- Ability to dedicate four weeks away from home
- Maturity level to focus on the task at hand
- Desire to start a career as a Diesel & Trailer Technician
- Technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles
- Ability to operate an iPad

Pay
- $12.99/hour (or state minimum wage, whichever is greater) + $250/wk stipend (taxed)
- $19/hour after 6 weeks
- + $1/hour upon graduation
