Entry Level Data Center Tech

About the role

Level 1 technician (helper) with little telecom experience. The hiring manager seeks a trainable candidate with prior experience in physically demanding work (e.g., construction, trades, military). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and attendance are essential for this data‑center position. The role is a contract position based in Clarksville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment; use a computer to document locations/part numbers
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands‑on electrical or military experience is highly valued
• Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Pay
