Entry Level Data Center Tech

About the role

Level 1 technician (helper) with limited telecom experience. The hiring manager seeks a trainable candidate with prior physically demanding work experience, emphasizing work ethic, attitude, dependability, and attendance for a data center environment.

This is a contract position based in Clarksville, TN, fully onsite, entry‑level. Anticipated closing date: Oct 12, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment, use a computer to document locations/part numbers
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands‑on electrical or military experience highly valued
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts

Entry‑level position. Ideal candidate is a hard worker who wants to grow with the organization, is honest and reliable, with leadership potential. Long‑term contract with possible conversion to FTE at Vision Technology.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour.
