Entry Level, Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent

About the role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level, Associate, or Experienced Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri, Mesa, Arizona, or Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Entry Level 1: Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
• Associate Level 2: Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
• Experienced Level 3: Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
  Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
  Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Requirements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Entry Level 1: More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
  More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  More than 3 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
  More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

• Entry Level 1: Ridley Park, PA - $62,900 - $77,700
  Hazelwood, MO and Mesa, AZ - $58,650 - $72,450
• Associate Level 2: Ridley Park, PA - $74,800 - $92,400
  Hazelwood, MO and Mesa, AZ - $69,700 - $86,100
• Experienced Level 3: Ridley Park, PA - $94,350 - $116,550
  Hazelwood, MO and Mesa, AZ - $88,400 - $109,200

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
