About the role
We are seeking an experienced Enrollment Technician II to support healthcare member enrollment operations. This role is responsible for accurately processing member enrollments, eligibility updates, and coverage changes while ensuring compliance with established policies and service standards. The ideal candidate has strong healthcare enrollment experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process member enrollments, eligibility updates, and coverage changes accurately and on time.
- Review enrollment requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve enrollment discrepancies and eligibility issues.
- Maintain accurate member records across enrollment systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve enrollment-related inquiries.
- Manage multiple requests while meeting quality and service expectations.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and enrollment systems to support daily operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare enrollment, member services, billing, claims operations, or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare enrollment, eligibility, and health plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Health insurance industry experience.
- Experience working with healthcare enrollment systems.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.
- Hybrid role: onsite in Baltimore, MD 2-3 times per month initially; once per month after stabilization.
Duration: 12-month contract. One virtual interview required.
