About the role
Responsible for enrolling new patients into VillageCare’s healthcare services. Duties include assisting patients with insurance verification, scheduling appointments, and providing general healthcare information.
Responsibilities
- Aid patients in understanding their insurance coverage and benefits
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Provide general healthcare information and answer patient inquiries
- Handle administrative tasks related to patient enrollment
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (or Chinese)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
