Engineering Technician - Radiographer

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive testing, equipment and facility maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Lead radiographic operations, including x-raying ordnance and energetic items, analyzing imaging data, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists, provide technical guidance, and maintain radiographic equipment.
  • Support proper integration of future test procedures as required.
  • Interpret x-ray images and document the results.
  • Safely conduct explosive and industrial operations, work in accordance with test procedures, monitor test setups, and provide reports to team leads, project engineers, and customers.
  • Discuss testing requirements, coordinate schedules, perform budgetary duties, and support briefings with test management, customers, and/or other stakeholders as necessary.

Certification and Experience

  • Certification in radiographic testing is required.
  • Extensive experience with energetic materials is required.
  • Stay up-to-date on equipment and standards in the radiography field is expected.
  • Expertise in advanced imaging technologies and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Mid-career experience required (4-7 years).

Benefits

  • Salary range: $71,957 - $135,657.

Pay

  • Minimum salary: $71,957.
  • Maximum salary: $135,657.

Schedule

  • The position may require overtime.
  • The position may require travel.
  • The position requires working both indoors and outdoors.
