Engineering Technician

Payrate: $25.67- $25.67/hr. Summary: Perform instrumented testing using established procedures to verify machine and component performance against product specifications. ResponsibilitiesSet up tests, including fixtures, part modifications, required instrumentation, and overall configurationExecute tests using computer-controlled systems as well as mechanical control systemsCollect and record data using both digital and analog measurement systemsCollaborate closely with engineers and technicians to communicate test progress, issues, and resultsPerform test teardown, cleanup, and equipment reset following completion Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude, including experience with power tools and metalworking equipmentAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbsEffective verbal and written communication skillsBasic mechanical systemsAbility to work independently with general guidance from management and team membersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications:Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experienceWorking knowledge of refrigeration systems and componentsBasic understanding of heat transferBasic understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.67 - $25.67 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
