Engineering Multi-Skill Mgr (Eng Multi-Skill LDR Management)
Position Responsibilities
Lead integration efforts for NRE supporting production lots.
Support the Program Risk and Opportunity Board for technical integration activities.
Coordinate resource requirements with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure proposals are executable and timelines are met.
Partner with Business Development and Program Management on future production lot campaigns.
Provide integration support for production improvement activities, including oobeya and quality improvement initiatives.
Apply critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, and consultation skills to support program objectives.
Proactively communicate with leadership teams, peers, and customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the P-8A aircraft
- 3+ years of experience leading people, projects, or teams
- Experience presenting technical content to Boeing and customer leadership
- Strong project management skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, and consultation skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate concisely in writing and verbally, including one-on-one, in small groups, and to large audiences
