Engineering, General - Adjunct Faculty

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver course instruction, follow common course outlines and instruction policies, grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely and periodic feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroom records, and attend required training sessions, professional development, and departmental meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Physics, or a related field of study.
• Prior teaching experience or graduate level training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in an engineering, technology, physics, or related field.
• Experience or graduate-level training in teaching is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to prepare and deliver course instruction.
• Knowledge of engineering design, statics, dynamics, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and fundamentals of electronics, digital electronics, communications systems, and engineering mathematics.

Pay

$1,085 per credit hour for Adjunct Level 1.
