Adjunct Faculty - Engineering

About the role

Laurel Ridge Community College is seeking adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for an Engineering adjunct. These positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach college level courses, including distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends.
• Teach at the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.

Requirements

• Masters in the field or Masters with 18 graduate credits in the field.
• The ability to use instructional technology.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Pay

The credit hour pay range is $794.00-$1,375.50.

Schedule

Adjunct faculty teach a variety of day, evening and weekend classes.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
