About the Program
The Polaris Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a two-year rotational program designed for recent engineering graduates. It provides a broad-based understanding of the product development cycle while offering in-depth exposure to customers and their needs. Through four six-month rotations, participants gain essential skills and challenging assignments to accelerate career development for future positions of significant responsibility.
Potential placement locations include Roseau, MN; Wyoming, MN; Medina, MN; Huntsville, AL; Novi, MI; or San Angelo, TX. Rotations may cover:
- Design Engineering
- Test and Validation
- Manufacturing or Operations
- Project/Product Engineering
Upon successful completion, participants transition into a full-time Engineering position based on business needs, demonstrated strengths, and career interests.

Relocation Assistance
Polaris offers a relocation program for qualifying employees, including:
- Lump sum payment.
- Self-haul moving package.
- Lease cancellation/duplicate housing reimbursement.
- Access to a relocation counselor for short-term housing assistance.
Participants are responsible for daily transportation to and from the office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer, Systems) with a graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week starting on January 12th, 2026, or June 15th, 2026.
- Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
- Willingness to relocate between sites for rotations and beyond the program for career development.
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
- Active leadership experience in student organizations or work experiences.
- Demonstrated strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
- Strong interest in long-term career development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
- Experience using CAD or equivalent software (Creo highly desired).
- Hands-on engineering experience through prior internships or clubs (e.g., SAE, Clean Snow).
Pay
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $75,000 to $80,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
Schedule
Program length: 2 years. Rotations last 6 months each (4 total). Start dates are January 12th, 2026, or June 15th, 2026.
