Engineer IV - Kitchen Mechanic

Essential Job Functions

• Uses appropriate hand and power tools to build, repair, refurbish and maintain building components, fixtures, furniture, etc.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas.
• Keeps maintenance logs.
• Documents completion of work orders.
• Responds to guest and co-workers maintenance requests and inquiries in accordance with established performance, safety and guest service standards.
• Leads and directs the team when a manager is not available
• Guides lower level Engineers assisting with complex projects and tasks, ensuring quality of work.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent or technical training/certification if required by law
• One of the following Licenses or Certifications are a must: Electrical, HVAC universal refrigeration (EPA certification) or CFESA
• One or more of the following Licenses or Certifications are preferred: Fire safety, OSHA 10 training, journeyman’s license for Plumbing or Carpentry
• Six or more years related experience in one or more trade disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required
• Able to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license
• Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Rivers Casino’s insurance policy
