Job Summary
Performs technical support to staff for computer hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with department leadership to determine project priorities of identified software and hardware needs based on NRH strategic objectives, identified through ongoing assessment.
- Completes inventory records for tracking institution software.
- Acts as a resource as requested to determine if computer performance problems are a result of knowledge, systems, or policy and procedure deficits.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree in computer science, or technical certificate in computer related field, preferred.
- Experience: Two years of experience with computer hardware, software, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting; and dealing with local area networks and installation of PC network equipment, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Two exams are required for this position. First exam is either CompTia A+ or Microsoft Operating System Exam. Second exam required is an Advanced Microsoft Operating System exam or Manager approved Advanced CompTia exam.
