Engagement Manager
About the role
The Engagement Manager serves as the primary bridge between MaintainX’s sales and delivery teams, ensuring that enterprise clients fully understand what to expect from our implementation and onboarding process. This role is critical in setting the foundation for a successful partnership by clearly communicating MaintainX’s approach, methodologies, and timelines while instilling confidence in the quality and reliability of our services.
Responsibilities
- Participates in customer discovery sessions to understand business needs and propose clear, achievable implementation plans that demonstrate MaintainX’s structured approach to success.
- Led the transition from sales to implementation, ensuring all stakeholders understand project scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Serves as a trusted advisor and single point of accountability during the critical period, helping clients navigate each step of onboarding with confidence and clarity.
- Maintains delivery progress, facilitates communication between MaintainX teams and the customer, and proactively manages any changes or challenges that may arise.
- Ensures that expectations are aligned, risks are mitigated early, and customers experience a smooth, transparent journey from contract to go-live.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or client-facing implementation roles within SaaS or technology industries.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical or process concepts clearly and effectively to executive and operational audiences.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing client expectations and aligning multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
- Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial technology environments preferred.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and their application in maintenance engineering, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification a plus).
