Energy Technician III

About the role

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Technician III. This role acts as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. The primary responsibilities include installing energy efficient equipment, conducting pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities within a defined territory. You will provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshooting technical problems and recommending solutions is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Install residential energy efficiency upgrades
• Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues
• Travel throughout a defined territory

Requirements

• 1-3 Years of experience
• A high school diploma or an Associate's degree with relevant industry technical certification or training preferred
• BPI Certified preferred; ability to obtain certification is needed for this role
• Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations

Pay

Compensation range: $25.00 - $37.50 per hour
