About the role
We are seeking a driven and tech-enabled Inside Sales Representative to generate and qualify new business opportunities within the commercial clean energy sector. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and setting high-quality meetings for the outside sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to engage decision-makers and understand operational needs, energy challenges, and project goals.
- Schedule qualified meetings and coordinate handoff to outside sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of commercial prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
- Communicate market feedback, customer pain points, and trends to leadership.
- Meet or exceed activity and performance targets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- A self-motivated individual with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle rejection professionally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- A strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–4 years of inside sales, business development, or lead generation experience.
- Experience in clean energy, solar, energy storage, HVAC, or related industries.
- Familiarity with commercial (B2B) sales cycles.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales metrics or quotas.
