About the Role
Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN (as-needed) basis to work as an Onsite Health Technician in an employer-based, occupational health clinic in Oconomowoc, WI. This position offers flexible scheduling with no guaranteed hours, ideal for those who can pick up occasional shifts.
Schedule
- Sunday–Tuesday & Thursday–Saturday: 12:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M.
- Wednesday: 6:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local providers, client staff, and corporate contacts.
- Provide patient care, workers’ compensation case management, and Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation.
- Monitor and support treatment plans in coordination with outside medical providers.
- Daily clinic operations, including superior customer service for clients and employees.
- Assess and treat workplace injuries/illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols (MCPs).
- Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
- Document care using EMR and other tools.
- Medical charting and case management.
Requirements
- Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong computer and technology skills (EMR software, cell phones, fax machines, etc.).
- Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for patient care.
- Willingness to go above and beyond.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a worksite clinic environment.
- Background in occupational health, emergency medicine, or critical care.
