About the Role

Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN (as-needed) basis to work as an Onsite Health Technician in an employer-based, occupational health clinic in Oconomowoc, WI. This position offers flexible scheduling with no guaranteed hours, ideal for those who can pick up occasional shifts.

Schedule

  • Sunday–Tuesday & Thursday–Saturday: 12:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M.
  • Wednesday: 6:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local providers, client staff, and corporate contacts.
  • Provide patient care, workers’ compensation case management, and Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation.
  • Monitor and support treatment plans in coordination with outside medical providers.
  • Daily clinic operations, including superior customer service for clients and employees.
  • Assess and treat workplace injuries/illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence-Based Medicine protocols (MCPs).
  • Support employee health and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
  • Document care using EMR and other tools.
  • Medical charting and case management.

Requirements

  • Valid EMT or Paramedic licensure.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills (EMR software, cell phones, fax machines, etc.).
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for patient care.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a worksite clinic environment.
  • Background in occupational health, emergency medicine, or critical care.
