About the role
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responsible for providing emergency medical care, operating advanced life support ambulances, and ensuring equipment functionality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, providing appropriate treatment and patient care.
- Coordinate with physicians and responders to develop and implement care plans.
- Lead response efforts, including triage, treatment, and patient transport.
- Inspect and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
- Assist with scene management, interacting with other emergency personnel.
- Complete detailed documentation complying with regulations.
- Handle hazardous materials and ensure proper disposal and safety compliance.
- Participate in ongoing training and adhere to federal, state, and local EMS standards.
- Operate ambulance and medical response tools effectively.
- Make decisions aligned with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
