EMS Recruiter

Overview

We are a Brooklyn Based Ambulance company seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization's staffing needs. This position requires a deep understanding of Emergency Medical Service Industry careers, as well as the ability to engage with candidates across various levels, from entry-level to experienced candidates. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create compelling job descriptions.
• Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and campus recruitment.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial contact through onboarding.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing them with a positive experience throughout the hiring process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting and executive recruiting.
• Assist in training development initiatives for new hires to ensure smooth transitions into their roles.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of talent management principles and human resources practices.
• Experience as an EMS Recruiter is preferred.
• Familiarity with recruitment strategies to attract emerging talent.
• Proficiency in technical recruiting methodologies for specialized roles.
• Ability to conduct executive recruiting for high-level positions within the organization.
• Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates effectively.
• Proficiency in JazzHR platforms is a plus.
