EMS Coordinator RN

About the role

We are seeking an EMS Nurse Coordinator RN to provide efficient, courteous care for patients transported by EMS.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and EMS personnel
• Collaborating with clinical teams for timely offloads
• Managing EMS surge situations
• Overseeing the EMS lounge
• Maintaining stroke care areas
• Supporting clinical staff during downtime
• Strategically collaborating with EMS leadership
• Contributing ideas to growth initiatives

Qualifications

• RN diploma
• Valid RN license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Trauma Nursing certification or equivalent, obtained within 30 days of employment
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification
• Advanced Trauma Care certification
