EMS Coordinator RN

About the role

We are seeking an EMS Nurse Coordinator RN to ensure a courteous and efficient patient transport experience for EMS arrivals. The role involves greeting patients and EMS personnel, collaborating with clinical teams for timely offloads, managing EMS surges, overseeing the EMS lounge, and supporting patient care during downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, compassionate care for transported patients
• Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow
• Manage EMS-related areas and surge situations
• Communicate with EMS leadership on strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• RN license with a diploma or degree
• Certifications: Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support, Trauma Nursing Course or related, and Crisis Intervention (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Emergency Pediatric Care or equivalent certification
