Employment Specialist II - Vocational Services

About the Role

The Vocational Services Employment Specialist II provides support to individuals with disabilities in community-based jobs. Responsibilities include training individuals in job tasks, assessing progress toward mastery, and developing goals and interventions to maximize independence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or HiSet required; two years of college preferred.
• State of Maine’s Job Coach Training required (can be achieved after hire).
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• One year of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities.
• Demonstrated competency in all essential functions of the Vocational Services – Employment Specialist I role.
• Ability to travel to multiple community locations to deliver services.
