Employee Services Coordinator - Onboarding
About the role
Work with guidance to manage all activities relating to pre- and post-hire processes, ensuring employees receive appropriate resolution in a timely manner and all necessary follow-up is carried out in line with legislation and AECOM policy.
Responsibilities
- Able to multitask and work on more than one issue simultaneously, prioritizing urgent requests
- Accurately and timely resolve all queries, escalating issues as required for resolution
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective and informative communication
- Provide guidance and support to onshore partners for queries relevant to pre- and post-hire activities
- Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Maintain quality standards, ensuring all work is done to a high standard and appropriate audits are undertaken
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures
- Adhere to audit and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AECOM Privacy Policy, SOX) to mitigate risks
- Follow standard protocols for electronic personnel file management and document storage
- Work in HR systems including Workday, SmartRecruiters, and Employee Center (Self Service, Knowledge Base, and Case Management)
- Interpret and explain company policies, not solely relying on FAQ documents
- Contribute to SOP/DTP maintenance by identifying process improvement opportunities
- Provide insights for continuous improvement initiatives and participate in CI project teams
- Provide input for incident reports to enable effective issue investigation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in Human Resources Services in a Shared Services/BPO Industry
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Human Resources Processes and Operations
- Experience working with HR Systems, preferably Oracle or Workday
- Willingness to work a midshift schedule and 3 days onsite per week

- Problem-solving to address basic process issues and suggest solutions
