Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator

About the role
This on-site position supports the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources team, with a primary focus on coordinating new hire onboarding and assisting with the employee termination process. The HR Onboarding Coordinator ensures new team members have a smooth and welcoming start to their employment while completing required paperwork and HR processes accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is interested in developing their career in Human Resources. The schedule is Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete all necessary steps for new hire onboarding, including paperwork, I-9 completion and verification, filing, and maintaining accurate team member records.
- Assist with all steps of the employee termination process and ensure required documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Maintain organized and accurate team member files and assist with periodic file audits.
- Assist with recruiting-related social media posts and advertising open positions.
- Support the HR team with recognition programs, team member events, and other HR initiatives throughout the year.
- Communicate new team member arrival information to the Housing Manager and assist with coordinating arrival transportation.
- Maintain an organized HR office, including keeping onboarding supplies stocked and up to date.
- Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, emailing, and filing documents.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
