Employee Relations Specialist
About the role
The Employee Relations Specialist plays a crucial role in Scopely’s Employee Relations team, supporting the growth of foundational operational and compliance workflows. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience in HR, Employment Law, Employee Relations, People Operations, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Partner with ER, Employment Law, People Operations, and other stakeholders on company-wide policy, training, and employment-related compliance
- Track and manage global employment compliance requirements across all countries where Scopely operates, including legally required trainings, labor law postings, and government reporting obligations
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of compliance initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to schedule required trainings, track attendance and completion, and maintain clean and auditable records
- Support the rollout and scaling of training programs across regions
- Collaborate with People Technology to support Workday Learning integration and adoption
- Standardize and maintain key employee documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts, policies, etc.
- Manage and triage employee concerns raised through various company channels
- Support documentation and tracking of ER-related matters
Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of employee relations, employment law, and HR compliance concepts in global populations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment
- Interest in growing into a more senior ER investigator/advisor role over time
Benefits
Annual salary range for candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA: $85,900 - $125,000 USD. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off.
