Location and Schedule
- 100% on-site position based out of Denver International Airport
- Employee parking provided
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am MST to 5:30pm MST
- Schedule flexibility required; may include nights, weekends, and holidays during emergencies or weather conditions
- Schedules are subject to change
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Provide information regarding parking permits to employees of the city, airlines, tenants, vendors, and the general public
- Multi-task frequently, managing multiple projects with constant interruptions
- Communicate professionally through phone calls, in person, electronically, and written correspondence
- Adhere to Parking and Transportation policies and procedures and City Municipal Codes
- Requires scheduling flexibility (Sunday-Saturday) and occasional required overtime
- Requires long periods of standing, as well as lifting, carrying, and transporting various items
- Operate City vehicles
Requirements
- Minimum of two years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with constant interruptions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in cataloging, data entry, or warehousing
- Excellent team player
- Microsoft Office skills, at least at an intermediate level
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience providing customer service over the phone
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
- Experience: Two years' experience performing cashiering, contract monitoring, inspection, or customer service work requiring the explanation of rules, codes, regulations, and procedures
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement
- Valid Driver's License at the time of application
- FBI criminal background check required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN)
- Employees must report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain clearance and continued employment
- Pre-employment physical/drug test may be required by position
Pay
Starting target hourly range for this position is $23.89 to $29.00 per hour.
