What You’ll Be Doing
You will prospect for business based on local networks, connections, and communities. This role is crucial for all product lines including personal, commercial, employee benefits, and other coverages.
- Sell and develop strong business-to-business relationships
- Maximize growth and client retention through superior customer service
- Create and pursue new client opportunities
- Present our services and solutions at prospect meetings
- Bring new business prospects to closure
- Maintain solid business-to-business relationships
Requirements
- 3+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience
- Commercial Insurance sales experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience selling to a specific industry a plus
- Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing within 90 days of hire
- Existing insurance licensure and/or industry designations preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
- Good listening skills and ability to determine clients' needs efficiently

Compensation
The expected base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $250,000 per year, influenced by factors such as skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level. This role is also eligible for commission derived from closed sales transactions. The commission structure varies by scope of work and book of business.
