About the role

The ideal candidate will have four to ten years of experience with Employee Benefits law. Preferred candidates will have experience with all areas of employee benefits, including but not limited to, ERISA, the design, establishment, maintenance and operations of various retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans, and knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding Employee Benefits issues.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of various retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advise on regulatory matters and represent clients before regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and review documents related to Employee Benefits.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Enthusiasm for client service and initiative.

Qualifications

  • Four to ten years of experience with Employee Benefits law.
  • Experience with all areas of employee benefits.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Pay

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $139,000 – $192,000. Actual base salary will be based upon criteria such as experience, qualifications and skill level.
