Emergency Veterinary Assistant

Located in Grand Terrace, California, Animal Emergency Clinic is a long-standing, AAHA-accredited emergency veterinary hospital proudly serving the Inland Empire for over 50 years. We specialize in after-hours emergency and critical care, with a plan to expand to 24/7 operations in the near future. Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and RVT’s with emergency procedures and patient care
• Perform blood draws, place IV catheters, administer medications and treatments
• Maintain patient records and ensure a clean, organized environment
• Collaborate closely with a passionate and experienced ER team

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in emergency
• Proficient in technical skills: venipuncture, catheter placement, patient monitoring, assisting in surgery
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate about emergency medicine and advancing veterinary care
• Reliable, motivated, and calm under pressure

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time role with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required
Pay range: $22–$27/hour
