Emergency Veterinarian
About the role
We are seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Veterinary Specialty Center Seattle in Lynwood, Washington. This position is part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, real-time care when pets and their families need it most.
- Strengthen triage and critical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care.
- Perform surgeries, deliver critical care, and maintain an exceptional standard of service for every patient.
- Manage hospitalized cases and develop and oversee treatment plans.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment.
- Obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended.

Pay
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $200,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
