Veterinary Website Development Specialist

EVCC is seeking a skilled Veterinary Website Development Specialist to join our team. We are a leading provider of veterinary website solutions in multiple locations across Indiana and Michigan.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites for veterinary practices. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies
• Collaborate with veterinarians and practice managers to understand their needs and goals
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility guidelines and standards
• Optimize websites for search engines and improve site performance
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in web development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with WordPress, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
