Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat critically ill or injured pets using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Perform life-saving procedures under the guidance of senior veterinarians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest veterinary practices.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
• Current North Carolina license to practice veterinary medicine.
• At least 2 years of experience in emergency and critical care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Competitive base salary with additional earning potential through quarterly production bonus (no negative accrual).

Schedule

Full-time position with 24-hour emergency coverage.
