Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, WA offers primary care and 24/7 emergency services for dogs and cats. Our integrative medicine department provides rehabilitation services, acupuncture, and chiropractic care for small animals. We are AAHA certified.

About the Role

Founded in 1963, Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital serves Snohomish and the Puget Sound region. We provide 24-hour emergency and critical care for small animals, partnering with VSCS for specialty expertise. Located 30 miles north of Seattle, Snohomish offers a blend of small-town charm and natural beauty.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment.
  • Obtained prior to start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Experience in emergency medicine, including work experience, small animal rotating, or emergency internships, is strongly recommended.

Qualifications

Pay

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL model. Full-time range starting at $180,000-$250,000/year, with a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 and up to $20,000 relocation allowance if applicable. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule

Overnight emergency shifts.
